The PNI TRAX attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) provides unparalleled heading and accuracy when static, while moving and when encountering magnetic distortion. TRAX employs a patented Kalman algorithm that intelligently fuses PNI’s patented reference magnetic sensors with gyros and accelerometers to overcome errors due to erratic motion and changes in the local magnetic field.

The new PNI TRAX2 AHRS & digital compass module incorporates PNI’s military-grade magnetic sensors with proven sensor fusion and digital compass algorithms to provide accurate direction and orientation in demanding conditions.

The ACEINNA OpenIMU300ZA is an easy-to-use high-performance 9 DOF open inertial platform. The OpenIMU300 features a precision 3-Axis Accelerometer, low-drift 3-Axis Rate Gyro, and 3-Axis Magnetometer. The low-power platform is powered by a 168MHz ARM M4 CPU with a Floating Point Unit. The OpenIMU300 runs the OpenIMU open-source stack that includes an optimized full-state Kalman Filter for Attitude and GPS-Aided Position-Velocity-Time (PVT) measurement. A free tool-chain based on VS Code supports PC, MAC, Ubuntu.

The Memsic AHRS440 is a compact standalone attitude and heading reference system that provides roll, pitch and yaw measurement data in both static and dynamic environments. The AHRS440 can accept external GPS aiding inputs for optimized performance, and is available in standard and high range sensor configurations

PNI TRAX2 AHRS & Digital Compass

TRAX2 is the only orientation module that provides two different modes: AHRS or digital compass. TRAX2’s dual-mode capability supports a wide range of applications including drones, robotics, ocean buoys, manned and unmanned vehicles. TRAX2 combines PNI’s high sensitivity magneto-inductive sensors with a high stability 3-axis MEMS accelerometer to provide accurate heading information under a wide variety of conditions and the ability to overcome errors caused by changes in the local magnetic field. This provides no drift, high accuracy heading, pitch and roll and long-term static accuracy.
